Multiplex Cinema Development, Castlecomer Rd, Kilkenny

Project Description:

The project involved the construction of a new multiplex cinema development and car parking including all associated site and ancillary works. The building was of structural steel frame with external wall glazing, with an insulated panel roofing system off a steel frame. The construction area will be approximately 3,500 m2

The fit out of the 12-screen cinema was partly completed by KMBC with the partitions, ceilings, painting etc. under our scope of works

This state-of-the-art development has enhanced the Central Access Scheme landscape significantly

CONSERVATION PROJECTS

Chapter House, Saint Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny
Location: James’s Street, Kilkenny

Description of Works

The Refurbishment & Extension, Conservation & Restoration works of Existing St. Mary's Cathedral Chapter House with new Kitchen and Storage Extension.
High Levels of Archoelogical and Architectural surveys completed on site including excavations to establish if the Medieval Wall of Kilkenny City ran through the site of the Cathedral. Archoelogical survey and excavations completed by Coilin O' Drisceoil of Kilkenny Archaeology.
4 phases involved in the works -
Phase 1 - Chapter House Roof, External Walls & Chimneys.
Phase 2 - Internal Refurbishment of the Chapter House Building.
Phase 3 - Refurbishment of basement of Cathedral into a new Sacristy.
Phase 4 - Extension to Chapter House Kitchen

Toyota Garage

Location: Hebron Rd, Kilkenny

Description of Works

This project involved the construction of a new car showroom building including offices, training room, workshop and body shop together with associated siteworks and drainage. The gross floor area of 1640m2.

The Building was completed with a workshop, body shop and vehicle maintenace area along with car showroom.

Danville Business Park

Location: Danville, Kilkenny

Description of Works

The project consisted of the construction of 3 number two storey Office Buildings with 36nr separate office units. Block A 39,500 sq.ft consisted of 14nr office units, Block B 34,500 sq.ft consisted of 12nr office units and Block C 20,120 sq.ft consisted of 10nr office units Including 350 surface car park spaces and all associated siteworks and drainage.

John’s Green Offices

Location: John’s Green, Kilkenny

Description of Works

The project consisted of the construction of a 16,200 sq.ft 4 Storey office development and Internal fit out of Kilkenny County Council offices including lift. It is currently occupied by Kilkenny County Council. Including all associated Siteworks and drainage.

Leggetsrath Agri Business Centre

Description of Works

The project consisted of the construction of a 16,200 sq.ft 4 Storey office development and Internal fit out of Kilkenny County Council offices including lift. It is currently occupied by Kilkenny County Council. Including all associated Siteworks and drainage.

Description of Works

This Projects Consists of 2 Phases:

Phase 1

The project consisted of the construction of a 1nr 31,000 sq.ft 3 storey commercial and retail development, with 66nr surface and 120nr underground carpark spaces

Phase 2

This project consists of 1nr 25,500 sq.ft 3 storey building with commercial and retail, restaurant, service yard & associated facilities. Including all associated siteworks and drainage.
