Architect: Brian Dunlop Architects
Engineer: David Kelly Partnership

Description of Works

The project involved the infill of an existing courtyard to provide an extension to the existing canteen/assembly area including a revised layout to the existing library, elevational treatment and all associated ancillary works. The extension was of structural steel frame with lightweight external wall and glazing, with an insulated panel roofing system off a steel frame. The extension area was approximately 63m2 and although the building is an extension, the existing area of the building was occupied during the latter stages of construction and a temporary hoarding was required between new and existing buildings for the duration of the works.
